What we recommend you see with the Amalfi Coast tour

Tour della Costiera Amalfitana

Amalfi

The private driver tour begins in Amalfi, strategically located between the sea and the mountains. We recommend a visit to the Duomo, which stands out majestically with its gold-leaf façade and bronze door. Inside is the Cloister of Paradise. We also recommend a walk through the fishing village, with its characteristic narrow streets and shops, and a trip by sea to the Emerald Grottoes and the Conca dei Marini. The view from the sea is a beautiful contrast between the white of the houses and the bright colours of the vegetation.

Sorrento

After a short drive we arrive in Sorrento to visit Piazza Tasso. A young square that has contributed to the redesign of the historical center of Sorrento. In the oldest part of the town you can visit the Correale di Terranova Museum, a beautiful example of medieval architecture that houses paintings and ancient art objects. There are clocks, Italian and foreign porcelain and archaeological finds from the ancient city. The next stop is the Church of Santa Maria della Pietà, followed by Palazzo Veniero, the Church of San Francesco d’Assisi, with its small 14th century cloister, and the Basilica of Sant’Antonio, famous for its Nativity scene.

Positano

We continue to the last stop on our tour of the Amalfi Coast: Positano. Built on several levels and connected by many staircases, the town has an evocative appearance and is best explored on foot. A visit to the church of Santa Maria Assunta and the characteristic old town, full of small craft shops and boutiques, is a must. Worth visiting are Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, splendid residences with gardens and terraces overlooking the sea.
